I love Hungary

I knew our ugric brothers were to be trusted. If anyone delivers, then it is Hungary. The winning contribution is their national selection is "Szívverés" by Csézy and would, under any normal circumstances, be considered a good song.

But given the less than impressive standard so far this year, listening to the Hungarian entry feels like being hit by a clear, soft, warm, happy ray of light after years and years of cold, dark winter.

Finally another song I can cheer for and feel happy about. Hungarians, I love you and salute you! If anyone ever speaks badly of you again, I promise to slap them up properly.

This, ehm, video clip seems to be made by some train fetischist out there, but pay no attention to it. Just enjoy the song. A real clip will be provided as soon as I find one.

Who is the favorite tomorrow then?

Perhaps she is sexually frustrated? Shrinks say you dream of trains plowing into tunnels when your sex life is getting the best of your mind...

I think Csézy is totally innocent in the making of this, ehm, film. But whoever made it should be examined.

BUT... the version she gave yesterday was robbed off its beat and thus reduced it to a quite dull eurovisionballad. Check out live clip on my blog.

This song sounds like one of the songs from The Never Ending Story... :-)

May be the writer took some examples of those?
